Kestle and Zach join the Dombrovski Lab
We are delighted to welcome Kestle and Zach as the founding Professional Research Assistants in the Dombrovski Lab.
They will play a central role in establishing the lab, developing experimental workflows, and supporting our research on the molecular mechanisms of neural circuit assembly in Drosophila.

The Dombrovski Lab officially opens at CU Boulder
The Dombrovski Lab has officially opened!
Our first week has been focused on building the foundation for the lab - setting up workspaces, organizing equipment, reagents, and Drosophila collection, and preparing for our first experiments.
We are excited to begin our research program exploring how molecular recognition mechanisms assemble neural circuits and shape precise patterns of synaptic connectivity.

The protocol describes our approach for combining expansion microscopy with hybridization chain reaction FISH (Ex-HCR-FISH), enabling high-resolution visualization of RNA molecules in the
Drosophila nervous system.
We hope this resource will be useful to researchers studying neural development, gene expression, and neural circuit assembly.
